About the job:
You will be on the ground floor, working with passionate founders and a product that people love. You’ll be experimenting and ultimately deciding HOW WE GO TO MARKET. This is a role for someone who lives for problem solving and relentless testing. You will be creating content, analyzing metrics, and building a community. Your focus will be to get a Dash robot into the hands of every child in America.
Serve as a senior counselor to the founders and be a critical participant in identifying product-market fit
Build a go-to-market strategy and the Dash Robotics brand
Test tactical methods for generating repeatable, profitable sales including crafting, delivering, and analyzing web, email, and social marketing campaigns
Become a domain expert within the toy space; e.g. Organize and participate in event marketing, such as MakerFaire, ToyFair, etc.
Build a social presence for Dash (e.g. blog strategy, email marketing, etc.)
Own the Dash account on Amazon to optimize sales results
Successful experience bringing a new physical/hardware product to market
4+ years experience marketing a consumer electronics product, a kid’s product, or both
Strongly self-directed and able to determine what needs to be done
Analytics experience - tracking engagement and performance over a variety of platforms
Sharp writing and communication skills - good sense of humor and smart
Experience with social media and community building
Passion for the mission and product, and for working in a small team
Nice to Have:
Interested in growing with the company, potentially to build a larger sales and marketing team
Experience with Amazon, Shopify, and MailChimp
A love of robotics, kids, tech education, or all of the above
